MADISON, TN, November 01, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Joseph Hass with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Hass celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
In a career spanning four decades, Mr. Hass has worked under several titles with Cummins, Inc., a Fortune 500 corporation that designs, manufactures, and distributes engines, filtration, and power generation products in the Nashville, TN, area. He first began working at its Chattanooga branch in Tennessee as a diesel mechanic from 1978 to 1981, and then transferred to its Nashville branch to become its manager of training for four years. Following this appointment, he moved up the ranks to a number of positions that sequentially included service floor foreman, CompuChek technician, fleet systems support engineer, technology advisor and director of development, with his most recent roles including director of electrical safety and manager of power generation training for the South region from 2015 to 2017.
Mr. Hass obtained a Bachelor of Education in secondary education from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga in 1977, and he is currently pursuing studies in aviation technology at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. After earning a degree and doing some student teaching, he figured it did not fit his aptitude. He went to Cummins, Inc., because he worked with his father in the automotive business. By the corporation offering him a training manager position, he was able to combine his teaching and automotive interests. In the beginning stages of his long tenure with the corporation, he was named their Technician of the Year, which was voted on by his fellow technicians.
Mr. Hass has been active with numerous associations related to his field, such as the Experimental Aircraft Association, the Heritage Foundation, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and the Federalist Society. He is listed in the third edition of Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America, as well as several editions of Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, and Who's Who in the World.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Joseph Hass has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
