With more than 35 year of professional experience, Ms. Barber was the owner and manager of Farmside Apartments from 1989 to 2009, having previously retired from Daggett Realty in 1998. In addition to her primary roles, she worked as a broker associate for Klapper Realty from 1990 to 1992 and Stollfus Realty from 1988 to 1990. From 1982 to 1986, she served as the owner and manager of Farmside Supperclub, and from 1979 to 1983, she held the same positions for Monica Barber Realty and Dunn Pl. Apartments. Earlier in her career, she excelled as a real estate salesperson with Capital City Real Estate from 1978 to 1979 and First Realty from 1976 to 1978.
Ms. Barber began her career as the owner and manager of Country Side Inn from 1973 to 1975. A leading expert in her areas of expertise, Ms. Barber is certified as a real estate broker and in small business administration by the Madison Area Technical College. She has been an active member of her community, having served as a volunteer campaign aide for Moria Krueger for Judge, as well as on the board of directors of the Montello Chamber of Commerce. A member of the Madison Board of Realtors, Ms. Barber previously held the role of treasurer for the Tavern League of Wisconsin. She also participated in the AREDS (age related eye disease study) program for 12 years.
Ms. Barber was the auditor for Springbrook Condominiums, and she has been an election worker for several years. She has contributed her expertise to the Deforest Senior Center, and as an auditor for the Deforest American Legion Auxiliary. Ms. Barber has also maintained involvement as a member of the White Lake Country Club. Throughout her career, Ms. Barber has been recognized for her achievements. She has been featured in numerous publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in the Midwest and Who's Who of American Women. In her free time, Ms. Barber enjoys golfing, traveling, cooking, engaging with computers, and playing cards.
