Previously, he was senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary of Chiquita Brands International, Inc. in Cincinnati from 1995 to 2006. He was senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary of The Penn Central Corporation in Cincinnati from 1987 to 1995. He was vice president and deputy general counsel of Penn Central in New York City from 1982 to 1987, associate general counsel from 1980 to 1982 and assistant general counsel from 1979 to 1980. Earlier in his career, Mr. Olson was an associate with the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York City from 1970 to 1979 and was assigned to Cravath's Paris office from 1975 to 1977.
Mr. Olson received a BA degree from Williams College in 1967 and a JD from the University of Virginia Law School in 1970. In his community, he has been Board President of Cincinnati Opera Association, Board Chair of Cincinnati Museum Center and Board President of Cincinnati Historical Society, as well as an adjunct Professor of Law at University of Cincinnati College of Law.
Throughout his career, Mr. Olson has been recognized for his achievements. He has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the Midwest.
