Ms. Roberts-Brown has been an executive assistant for Francena Purchase Consulting Services in Grand Rapids, Mich. for the past 14 years, since 2004. She formerly worked in several other fields, including religious services as a pastoral assistant with the First Missionary Baptist Church, in education as a teaching assistant at New Branches School the Grand Rapids Public Schools and in healthcare as a nurse's aide at Raybrook Nursing Home. Having worked in the Grand Rapids area throughout her entire career, she has enjoyed the diversity and the many opportunities she has experienced.
Recently, Ms. Roberts-Brown was a choir board member with the East Paris Christian Reformed Church in Grand Rapids between 2008 and 2011. She continues to serve as a member of the Rev. Popov Ministries in Grand Rapids since 1994, and she is a longtime member of the Western Michigan Postal Customer Council and the Christian Reformed Church.
Ms. Roberts-Brown studied at Jordan College in Grand Rapids from 1987 to 1989 and became a certified long-term care facility nurse aid through the State of Michigan Department of Public Health in 1990. The recipient of a Certificate of Recognition from Francena Purchase Consulting Services every year between 2006 and 2012, Ms. Roberts-Brown also received an award from the Grand Rapids Public School for her dedication in 1994, as well as recognition for a summer program that she ran several years ago. Appearing on the Grand Rapids Community Media Center, she has been highlighted in more than 20 editions of Who's Who, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare and Who's Who in the World.
Born in East St. Louis, Ill., Ms. Roberts is the proud mother of five children. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family. She also loves to read.
