Prior to obtaining her current role, she was a school librarian/media specialist with Clarkston Community Schools from 2004 to 2017, Hartland Consolidated Schools from 2002 to 2004, and Linden Community Schools from 2001 to 2002. Earlier in her career, Ms. Lovse was a school librarian/media specialist with Mount Morris Consolidated Schools from 1999 to 2001 and a social studies teacher with Mercy High School from 1995 to 1999.
Ms. Lovse began her career as a student at Eastern Michigan University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in 1992. After obtaining some experience in the field, she returned to her studies, earning a Master of Science in library information sciences from Wayne State University in 2004. She is certified in professional education in the state of Michigan.
An active leader in her field, Ms. Lovse is affiliated with a number of professional organizations in her community. She is a member of the Michigan Association of Computer Users Learning and the Michigan Association of Media Education and a former library board member in Linden, MI. Additionally, she has contributed myriad articles to professional publications.
Throughout her career, Ms. Lovse has been recognized for her achievements and accomplishments. She has been featured in numerous honors publications, including the 65th edition of Who's Who in America.
