An established, full-service law firm that offers representation to businesses in all manners of transactional, litigation and regulatory compliance matters, the firm has been in business for more than 35 successful years. Prior to forming his law firm, Mr. Riddle devoted 10 years as a litigation, banking and real estate partner with two large firms based out of Dallas, Texas: Baker Glast Riddle Tuttle & Elliot and Geary Brice Barron & Stahl.
Mr. Riddle has been admitted to practice law by the Texas Bar Association, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. During his tenure at Middleburg, he has been responsible for leading the National Mortgage Compliance services group into the digital age, overseeing development of computer systems that efficiently provide state-of-the art disclosure and documentation services to large scale national mortgage lenders via the internet. Under his guidance, the firm's mortgage services set the national standard for quality and compliance in the mortgage banking industry.
As a young attorney in the early 1970s, Mr. Riddle gained valuable expertise defending juveniles, typically those in difficult circumstances. Engaged in civil rights work, he has since served as the chairman and chief executive officer at MRG Document Technologies between 2000 and 2015. Currently, Mr. Riddle holds the post of the president of Assurity Mortgage Group since 2015.
Mr. Riddle has maintained involvement with the American Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association and the College of the State Bar of Texas. He has also been active with several business, civic and charitable events and organizations. Notably, Mr. Riddle found success as the president for the U.S.A. Film Festival, the chairman of the board of directors of Provident Bancorp of Texas and on the board of directors for both North Texas Public Broadcasting Inc. and the Dallas Opera.
In honor of his career, Mr. Riddle has been featured in over 30 editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in Finance and Industry. Before embarking on his professional path, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in history at Texas Tech University. Mr. Riddle additionally obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence, with honors, from Texas Tech University.
