RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA, December 27, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Audrey A. Perri, JD, with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Perri celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Perri was a founding partner of Haslam & Perri LLP from 2003 to 2012 and founding partner of the San Bernadino and Riverside Counties Family Law Mediation Group from 2005 to 2012. She considers a proud moment of her career to be her involvement with the local and state collaborative law practice, which allows divorcing couples to avoid the litigious courtroom process by providing them with access to two qualified attorneys, a financial advisor, and if necessary, a psychologist. She views this approach to divorce as an optional, more humane approach to settling cases of divorcing partners.
Prior to establishing the family law firm of Haslam & Perri LLP, she was with the law firm of Covington & Crowe LLP in Ontario, CA as an associate from 1981 to 1985 and as a partner from 1986 to 2003.

When her husband was awarded a Fulbright Teaching Grant to Iceland, Ms. Perri also taught English as a second language in Reykjavik, Iceland in 1962-63. While raising a family, Ms. Perri had several teaching positions, again at Upland High School in 1964, at Claremont High School in Claremont, CA in 1967 and at Alta Loma High School in the Chaffey H.S. District in 1970-71. When her husband received a National Science Foundation Grant at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Ms. Perri taught full time at Oak Park-River Forest High School in the Chicago area from 1971-1972.
In 1973 when she sought a post-graduate degree, an advisor suggested to her that she should consider a degree in law, whereupon she enrolled at the University of La Verne School of Law where she graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1976. That same year, she was admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. After joining the law firm of Covington & Crowe in 1981, she became a board-certified California Family Law Specialist in 1984.
Professionally in the legal field, Ms. Perri was a member of the American Bar Association, the California State Bar Association, and the San Bernardino County Bar Association. With the California State Bar Association, she served as a delegate on the state bar conference of delegates from 1977 to 1996 and elected to the executive committee conference of delegates from 1985 to 1988. Ms. Perri is most proud to have served as a state bar commissioner on the California Judicial Nominees Evaluation Committee from 1995 to 1998.
Ms. Perri, as a member of the San Bernardino County Bar Association was instrumental in establishing the Inland County Women at Law, where she served as the founding president from 1981 to 1982. Also, she was involved with the National Conference of Christians and Jews from 1977 to 1982, and a member of American University Women where she served one year as president of the local organization. As a student at La Verne University School of Law in 1977, she was the Articles Editor for the Journal of Juvenile Law at the University.
Among her accomplishments, Ms. Perri was the recipient of the Boss of the Year Award from the Ontario-Inland Valley Legal Secretaries Association in 1989 and the Susan B. Anthony Woman of the Year Award from the San Bernardino County Commission on the States of Women in 1992.
