WESTMINSTER, CA, December 27, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Edward Mitsuo Nakauchi with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Nakauchi celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. Mr. Nakauchi is a longtime senior technical specialist and senior technology specialist at Northrop Grumman Corp., an American global aerospace and defense technology company, in Pico Rivera, California, having held these roles since 1989. He is also currently a consultant in electromagnet interference, electromagnet capability, electrostatic discharge and electromagnet pulse. Mr. Nakauchi's near 50-year tenure in electrical engineering includes formerly working as a private practice consultant in Westminster, California, a manager for Century Data Systems in Anaheim, California, a senior engineer for Basic Four in Tustin, California, and a manager for HTL-K West in Santa Ana, California, as well as several engineering roles with other California companies, dating back to 1969.

Recognized for his involvement in designing key components of the B2 Stealth Bomber and the first generation of the global positioning system, Mr. Nakauchi also served as the head project manager that designed the signal conditioner for the space shuttle. The signal conditioner project was the first one to be qualified for use by the space shuttle. While working in the field, he taught Principles of Electrical Engineering, as well as a course in electromagnetic interference, electromagnetic capability and PCB design control for electromagnet interference at the University of California in Irvine. Mr. Nakauchi is the co-author of a book on the subject of electromagnetic interference and capability called "Testing for EMC Compliance: Approaches and Techniques" and has contributed numerous technical papers and articles to professional journals as well.

A member and former chairman of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Mr. Nakauchi is also a member of the Electrostatic Discharge Association and Tau Beta Pi, The Engineering Honor Society. He also holds a patent in relation to electromagnetic interference. In light of all his accomplishments, Mr. Nakauchi has been cited in the 56th edition of Who's Who in America and the 22nd edition of Who's Who in the West.

Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Nakauchi developed an interest in radio when he was just a child. Growing up in the 1950's when radios were becoming very popular, he built his very own with a kit. It was no wonder he would go on to study engineering as an adult. Attending Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California, he received an Associate of Arts in technology in 1966. Following this accomplishment, Mr. Nakauchi earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering, magna cum laude, from Northrop University in Inglewood, California in 1969 and a Master of Science in electrical engineering at Columbia Pacific University in San Rafael, California, in 1992.
