With nearly 50 years of professional experience, Mr. Wyrsch has been a partner with Wyrsch, Hobbs and Mirakian, PC, and its predecessor firms since 1978, also serving as president and shareholder since 1988. Prior to obtaining these positions, he was of counsel with Koenigsdorf, Kaplan, Kraft & Fox from 1972 to 1977, having been an associate with the firm since 1970. In addition to his primary roles, Mr. Wyrsch has served as an adjunct professor for the University of Missouri since 1981.
Mr. Wyrsch began his career as a student at the University of Notre Dame, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in 1963. He continued his studies with Georgetown University, where he completed a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1966. He then joined the University of Missouri, Kansas City, earning a Master of Laws in 1972. He has been admitted to practice law in the state of Missouri, as well as before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Tax Court, the United States Court of Military Appeals, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and the Fourth through 11th Circuits. Mr. Wyrsch has been certified by the United States Court of Federal Claims.
A respected voice in his community, Mr. Wyrsch has been affiliated with a number of professional organizations. He is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Kansas City Bar Foundation, and a former member of the Kansas City Club and Phi Delta Phi. He has been recognized as a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Missouri Bar Foundation and the American Bar Foundation. Mr. Wyrsch has served as senior counsel for the College of Master Advocates and Barristers. He is a member of the Blue Springs Golf Club and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Throughout his career, Mr. Wyrsch has been recognized for his contributions.
