Prior to obtaining this role, she was executive vice president of Target Systems, Inc., now known as U.S. Personnel, from 1983 to 1997. Earlier in her career, she was a counselor with Lutheran Social Service from 1978 to 1982 and with Rapid City Regional Hospital from 1978 to 1981. In addition to her primary roles, Dr. Rosene was a consultant for the Northwestern Bell, McDonalds, Coca Cola, the Tyler, TX League of Women Voters, Ashley Furniture Manufacturing and major retail association in North America. Additionally, she has presented at multiple seminars in the field and consulted with Lake County Leadership.
Dr. Rosene began her career as a student at the Fielding Graduate University, obtaining a Master of Arts in 1981. She continued her studies with the school, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in clinical psychology in 1983. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and marriage and family therapist. Dr. Rosene was the publisher of Convenience Store News and the National Home Furnishing Association-West News Magazine, and she is the author of "Civil War in the American Workplace."
A respected leader in the field, Dr. Rosene has been active with a number of organizations in her community. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Group Psychotherapy Association, the Dallas Group Psychotherapy Society, and the North Carolina Psychological Association. She has also been affiliated with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, Rotary International, Kiwanis International, the National Speakers Association, the North Texas Speakers Association, Southwest Home Furnishing International, the Friends of Mineola Nature Preserve, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, and the Annual Preservation of East Texas.
Throughout her career, Dr. Rosene has been recognized for her achievements. A research grantee of the National Lutheran Church, she was named to the National Register of Certified Group Psychotherapists. She has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, and Who's Who of American Women.
Dr. Rosene is the niece of the Tonka Toys founder, Lynn Baker. Her Uncle Lynn and her father Bill Roberts who worked for Lynn Baker as Operations Manager, focused her attention on the principles of business, business succession, personnel selection, and building successful business values. Thus, she is known in the field as a 'Tonka Toys family member.'
