Ms. Palmer has been cited in several editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Nursing, Who's Who of American Women and Who's Who Among Human Services Professionals. She has held a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nursing from Seton Hall University in New Jersey since 1976 and 1985, respectively. She is a certified adult nurse practitioner and certified yoga therapist with a special interest in medical conditions and expertise in stress recognition and reduction.
Born in Somerville, NJ, Ms. Palmer was raised in northern New Jersey and made the decision to follow the same career path as her late aunt, Emily Kuzamak. A highly educated nurse who earned a master's degree in her field, which was rare in her day, Ms. Kuzamak was employed with a company called Ethicon, where she ran the entire occupational health section of the organization and oversaw all of the nurses and occupational employees along the northeast coast. Ms. Palmer's aunt was a true mentor and inspiration throughout her career.
