Prior to obtaining these roles, he served as an assistant professor at Iona College from 1996 to 1998, Dowling College from 1994 to 1996, and Clarkson University from 1991 to 1994. In 1991, Dr. Langbert was active as a senior budget analyst for the Ways and Means Committee of the New York State Assembly, and as the associate director and director of employee benefits for City Federal Savings and Loan from 1984 to 1986.
Earlier, Dr. Langbert began his career as a pension analyst with Johnson and Johnson from 1981 to 1984, having been a pension administrator with Inco Ltd. from 1976 to 1979. Previously, be pursued an education at SUNY Binghamton from 1971 to 1973 and Sarah Lawrence College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1975. He continued his studies at the College of Insurance, completing a Master of Business Administration in 1981. Receiving a Master of Business Administration with the University of California, Los Angeles, the same year, Dr. Langbert later returned to his studies in 1986, graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy at Columbia University in 1991.
A leading voice in his industry, Dr. Langbert has been affiliated with a number of organizations in his community. A member of the National Association of Scholars, he has written a book in relation to his areas of expertise and has contributed articles to professional journals. Moreover, he found success as an expert witness and an adjunct professor for New York University. Throughout his career, Dr. Langbert has been featured in numerous publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in the East, and Who's Who in the World.
