Dr. Potter authored "Cannabis for Seniors," which was published in 2017, and is working on "Senior Boomers: Reflecting the Golden Years."
To prepare for her illustrious career, Dr. Potter pursued formal education at San Francisco State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1965. Thereafter, she continued her studies at San Francisco State University and received a Master of Science in vocational rehabilitation counseling in 1968. She concluded her education in 1974, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy in counseling psychology from Stanford University. While studying toward her doctorate, Dr. Potter was notably recognized as a Ford Foundation dissertation fellow.
An expert in her field, Dr. Potter served Stanford University for nearly 20 years as a member of the staff development team and offered workshops through De Anza College and the University of California, Berkeley.
