A retired educator, Ms. Stuebe pursued her love of teaching English literature and writing in a number of institutions, including Midlothian School District 143, Matteson District 162, Purdue University, the Bucks County Community College, and the Hamilton Township School District. One of the highlights of her career in education was the creation of the Advanced Placement English program for the Hamilton Township School District, where she served as coordinator of her high school's program from 1996 to 2009. Over the years, Ms. Stuebe also gained valuable expertise through positions on the New Jersey State Institutional Review Board for Bioethics, Health and Human Services and the Educational Testing Service. After she retired, Ms. Stuebe served as a test writer and production editor for Measurement, Inc., from 2010 to 2018.
Prior to embarking on her career, Ms. Stuebe received her Bachelor of Arts from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, in 1971. Following this accomplishment, she earned her Master of Arts from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, in 1976. Concluding her education with a Master of Science in Industrial Relations from Loyola University Chicago, Ms. Stuebe was licensed as a teacher in the states of New Jersey, Illinois, and Pennsylvania.
Though she is retired, Ms. Stuebe maintains affiliation with the New Jersey Education Association and the National Education Association in order to keep abreast of developments in her field. Due to her professional accomplishments, she was honored with a Teacher of the Year Award through Hamilton Township High School North in 2008, an Outstanding Humanities Teacher Award from the New Jersey Legislature in 2001, and a Humanities Teacher of the Year from the Hamilton Township School District in 2001. For excellence in her career, she has previously been selected for inclusion in Who's Who in America and Who's Who of American Women.
