An expert in his field, Dr. Braggio earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Coe College, a Master of Arts in experimental psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy in physiological psychology and comparative psychology from Georgia State University, and a Master of Public Health in epidemiology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he has also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in physiology and biophysics. A member of the Published Writers of Rossmoor since 2016, Dr. Braggio has dedicated himself to charitable and community efforts through the organization during his spare time.

For his professional accomplishments, he has been celebrated many times, accepting grants from the National Institutes of Health totaling nearly $10 million. He has also been honored through the International Book of Honor, Two Thousand Notable Americans, 5000 Personalities of the World and Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare.
