With over 50 years of professional experience, Dr. Pino has served as the director of radiology at St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ, since 1986 and as a radiologist with the hospital since 1977. Beginning his career in radiology as a resident at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City in 1974, he achieved the role of chief resident in radiology in 1976. A diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Pino spent the first five years of his career as a private practice doctor in pediatrics in Fort Lee, NJ, beginning in 1969.
Prior to embarking on his career, Dr. Pino pursued an education at New York University in New York City, earning a Bachelor of Arts in history in 1960. Following this accomplishment, he continued his studies with a Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York in 1964 and completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at the New York Hospital, now known as the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, from 1964 to 1967. Dr. Pino also served as a major in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969 before he settled into his work in private practice medicine.
Having achieved much over the course of his career, Dr. Pino considers the highlight of his career to be the time he spent as the chief resident in radiology at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Additionally, he is particularly proud of his work as the president of the medical staff at St. Mary's General Hospital. He was elected to The Phi Beta Kappa Society for his excellence. In light of all his accomplishments, Dr. Pino has previously been selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, and Who's Who in the East.
