Lyn Dutson attained the title of professor emeritus with Mesa Community College in 2010.
TEMPE, AZ, February 01, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Lyn Dutson with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Dutson celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Supported by more than four decades of practiced experience, Ms. Dutson attained the title of professor emeritus with Mesa Community College in 2010, where she started as a faculty member in 1969. Prior to commencing her appointment at the college, she worked as a lecturer at Arizona State University from 1967 to 1968. She became involved in her profession because she was inspired by one of her high school theatre directors, Richard Hutchinson. Though her career has been filled with numerous highlights, she believes that being nominated to the Hall of Fame at Mesa Community College was a crowning achievement.
An expert in her field, Ms. Dutson holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from Arizona State University. In order to remain abreast of changes in the field, she has maintained affiliation with the Costume Society, the United States Institute for Theatre Technology, the Southern Poverty Law Center, Common Cause and the American Civil Liberties Union. Throughout her lengthy career, she has contributed her skills to a number of plays as director and has earned the Arizona Theatre Alliance Award and the Arizona Award for her work in directing and costume design.
In light of her exceptional accomplishments, Ms. Dutson received the Faculty Service Award from Mesa Community College in 2007. Looking toward the future, she intends to continue enjoying her retirement as professor emeritus.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Lyn Dutson has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
