In 1971, Mr. Jensen earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry, summa cum laude, from Wagner College. He followed this educational accomplishment with a Master of Science in nuclear engineering from Westinghouse Nuclear in Idaho Falls, ID, as well as postgraduate coursework at Columbia University. Displaying professional versatility, he commenced his career as a research technician at the New York University Medical Center, going on to work as an assistant scientist and scientist for the Technicon Instruments Corporation and senior scientist for the Westinghouse Electric Corporation. After serving as general manager for Techstar Technical Skills Training and Research, he became the owner and principal owner at JENSENART in 2003, which he continues to run to the present day.
Alongside his primary goals, Mr. Jensen has worked as a graphic designer and consultant in his field since 1988. He has contributed his skills as an editor numerous times, including such works as "Building with Words," "Leading by Example," "Building the Management Team" and "Managing People: The Art of Leadership." He also notably edited, designed and illustrated "The Industrial Operator's Handbook: A Systematic Approach to Industrial Operations" in 1995 with its second edition published in 2001.
Though he was initially interested in pursuing medicine, Mr. Jensen decided to pursue research when he went back to college for postgraduate coursework. Demonstrating numerous skill sets, he is currently a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts. Mr. Jensen was honored in the 23rd and 24th editions of Who's Who in the West, as well as the first edition of Who's Who in the Media and Communication and the 1970-1971 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. He enjoys hunting, camping, writing, photography and photo restoration in his spare time.
