Prior to her current role, she practiced with Miller & Martin PLLC and held management roles with the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions. She has also enjoyed serving as an adjunct professor of law at the Nashville School of Law. Ms. Edge has helped to start 28 new banks and has become known as "the bank lady" in her home state of Tennessee. The majority of her clients are regulated financial services companies.
Ms. Edge earned a Bachelor of Arts from George Peabody College (of Vanderbilt University) and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Nashville School of Law. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, she is a member of the American, Tennessee, and Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women, and the Marion Griffin Chapter of the Lawyers Association for Women. She has served in a number of bar association leadership positions, including president of the Tennessee Bar Association and TLAW, as well as Marion Griffon LAW.
Ms. Edge has dedicated her efforts to charitable and community endeavors through the Neighborhood Justice Center, the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, various commissions of the Tennessee Supreme Court, and the Tennessee Bankers Association.
For her outstanding accomplishments, Ms. Edge received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Tennessee Supreme Court. She was additionally recognized among the Best Lawyers in America. Likewise, she has been featured in multiple editions of Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law.
