He cites the publication of his 1979 textbook to be the highlight of his career, as he authored the text while attending Marquette University in preparation for his doctorate. It eventually became published and translated into Spanish. In addition, he is renowned for his discoveries in statistics.
Dr. Mackal began his career as a student at the University of Chicago, completing coursework from 1964 to 1966. He then joined the University of Wisconsin, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in social sciences in 1971 and a Master of Arts in sociology and statistics in 1973. He concluded his studies with Marquette University, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in education in 1984.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mackal has been recognized for his contributions. He has received awards and accolades for his achievements and accomplishments. He has also been featured in numerous honors publications, including the fourth edition of Who's Who in Science and Engineering.
