Prior to obtaining his current role, he was senior vice president and chief financial officer of Chicago Title and Trust Company from 1993 to 1999, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Star Banc Corporation from 1985 to 1993, and executive vice president and chief financial officer of Fidelity Trust Company from 1982 to 1985.
From 1975 to 1982, Mr. Totlis was corporate controller of Irving Trust, having been vice president of the company from 1972 to 1975, assistant vice president from 1971 to 1972, assistant secretary from 1969 to 1971, and a financial analyst from 1968 to 1969. Earlier in his career, Mr. Totlis was a financial planning manager with General Foods Corporation from 1964 to 1968.
A leading voice in the industry, Mr. Totlis holds a Bachelor of Arts from Lake Forest College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the Arizona Country Club and former club memberships include Canoe Brook Country Club, Kenwood County Club, Bankers Club, and the University club of Chicago.
Mr. Totlis has had the privilege to service a number of professional affiliations and community service organizations, including as a senior partner with Dorian Properties LLC, as a secretary and treasurer of the planning and control committees with the Financial Executives Institute, as chairman of the governing board of the Illinois Council on Economic Education, and member of the State of Ohio Student Aid Commission.
Additionally, Mr. Totlis has been the president of the Miami Valley Business Economists Association, the May Festival Music Association, and the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra. He has also excelled as vice chairman of United Way, vice president of the Speciali Olympics, and treasurer of the Salvation Army and Cincinnati Fine Arts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Totlis has been recognized for his contributions.
