With 50 years of professional experience, Mr. Schneider has been a mediator and arbitrator of Schneider Mediation since 2007, having formerly served as the domestic relations presiding judge of the Maricopa County Superior Court from 1986 to 2007, also serving as civil presiding judge from 1988 to 1991. Prior to obtaining these roles, he was a partner at Rosen & Schneider from 1977 to 1986 and an associate with Langerman, Begam, Lewis & Marks from 1972 to 1977. Earlier in his career, Mr. Schneider was an associate at Guzik & Boukstein from 1969 to 1971 and a staff attorney with Bedford Stuyvesant Community Legal Services in Brooklyn, NY, from 1968 to 1969.
Mr. Schneider began his career as a student at the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 1964. He then joined St. John's University, earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1968. He has been admitted to practice law in Arizona. Mr. Schneider is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Arizona and the Maricopa County Bar Association.
Throughout his career, Mr. Schneider has been recognized for his contributions. Named Judge of the Year by the State Bar of Arizona, he was also named Distinguished Alumnus for Public Service by Binghamton University, both in 2008. The recipient of the Presidential Award from the Arizona State Bar Association, he has been featured in numerous honors publications, including Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the West.
