The Japanese government has turned on enormous research funding to "Monju" as the fast nuclear reactor for the nuclear fuel cycle for many years in Japan. Although there was no result of the "Monju" project at all, the group of the Institute for Eco and Economy System proposed the novel our project, which was the base of the five acquired international patents by our group, to the government. Then, the "Monju" project put a period in the research and development as a decommissioning. This project can deal with the purpose enough as the solutions for three problems that the earth currently holds. These solutions are i) the treatment of the spent nuclear fuel, ii) the creation of the renewable energy from the spent nuclear fuel, and iii) the significant contribution in the avoided emissions of the greenhouses gas.
From beginning to end consistently as mentioned above, Dr. Ueno conducts research activities "LIVING LEGEND, 500 FOUNDERS OF THE 21ST CENTURY (IBC CAMBRIDGE)" to provide "ECOSYSTEM economics model" advocated by him.
