The company is the world's fifth-largest defense contractor based on 2012 revenues, and was ranked number 99 on the Fortune 500 list of the largest United States corporations by total revenue in 2018. During this period he became a licensed Electrical Engineer in the state of California.
Prior to embarking on his professional path, Mr. Peterson earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois in 1963, and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University in 1967. Mr. Peterson then completed a Master of Business Administration at Columbia University in 1969 and started his investment and financial services professional life. This involved income tax work, real estate and a securities firm. Mr. Peterson went on to obtain a Doctor Jurisprudence from the California Western School of Law in 1983 and a Master of Laws in taxation from New York University in 1985. He is a licensed real estate broker in California and Nevada, a licensed attorney in California, Texas and District of Columbia and a Certified Public Accountant in California and Texas. He is also a licensed Solicitor in England and Wales, a Certified Financial Planner, a Neuro-linguistic Professional and Touch for Health instructor.
During his in excess of 55 years of professional life, Mr. Peterson goal has been to provide financial comfort to his clients by providing business consulting, estate planning, tax preparation, asset protection, entity formation and taxpayer representation. During this period, he has been instrumental in establishing and managing several businesses. His main two companies besides his legal practice, are Juno Real Estate, Inc. and Juno Financial Services, Inc. Other companies have included Juno Securities, Inc., Scripps Mortgage Corporation, Equity Programs Corporation, Coastal Properties Trust, Imperial Screens of San Diego, Inc., Juno Transport, Inc., Heritage Transportation Management, Inc., ASAP Insurance Services, Inc., Juno Tax Service, Inc., Costumes Characters and Classics LP and 20 real estate syndications.
Honored for his work, Mr. Peterson was featured in San Diego Magazine as a Top Scoring Wealth Manager in 2010 and 2011. He has also been cited in many editions of Who's Who dating back to 1985 when he was first included in Who's Who in the West. Mr. Peterson attributes a lot of his success to motivational speaker, Tony Robbins. In 1985, he went to one of his fire walking seminars and he has tried to attend one of his seminars every year since. He was able to travel around quite a bit through the Tony Robbins organization. Another inspiration was his grandfather, Elbert L. Peterson. Mr. Peterson currently resides in Sugar Land, Texas with his wife, Chen Li Peterson and daughter Ava. His son Brayden F.
