Ms. Kuerbitz is a writer, poet and artist who has been honing her skills for many years. The longtime president of Pat's Picturesque Poetry from 1991 to 1998, she has also lent her expertise as a calligrapher, writer and artistic instructor of calligraphy to Burnham Stamp Company in Bay City, MI, as well as Pepper Tree Place in 1995 where she wrote poetry, and did calligraphy and artistic design. She was a writer for Dicksons Inspirational Gifts and Wall Décor in Seymour, IN, since 1995. Furthermore, she has been maintaining a full-time career as the longtime vice president of Interstate Battery in Bay City since 1990. Ms. Kuerbitz formerly owned Calligraphy and More for 24 years between 1994 and 2018. Her original framed art was sold in local Christian book stores in Michigan and Florida until 2017.
Throughout her career, Ms. Kuerbitz has authored numerous works of poetry, including "From My Heart" in 1985 and "From My Heart, Parts II through VI" between 1994 and 1996. Some of her works have even been purchased by a major Christian organization, which have since been sold in bookstores. Ms. Kuerbitz has also long been painting, having completed more than 400 works in oil, acrylic and watercolor.
With respect to music, Ms. Kuerbitz has been singing and playing the guitar at the Praise Tabernacle Worship Team in Florida for 20 years since 1998. She also serves in the same capacity at the Faith Center Church in Bay City, where she has been a member of the worship team for many years. She previously spent time as an active member of Faith Center Productions. Recording many songs as a singer and songwriter over the years, in 2005, Ms. Kuerbitz produced her first CD titled "Holy Fire."
Prior to her tenure at Interstate Battery, Ms. Kuerbitz worked in health care as a respiratory therapist in Bay City. In the field for just over a decade beginning in 1984, she was inspired to pursue this area of medicine after three of her children were suffering from asthma. A field that was in high demand at the time, Ms. Kuerbitz received a grant to complete her schooling. Becoming a certified respiratory therapist, she has also held an associate degree from Delta College in Michigan since 1984.
The recipient of a First Place Award and Second Place Award from Artex Hobby Products in 1972, Ms. Kuerbitz was later honored with an Honorable Mention Award from the World of Poetry in 1987. She has been a fellow through the Calvary Chapel Open House Fellowship since 2002. Ms. Kuerbitz has been cited in several editions of Who's Who in Entertainment, Who's Who in the Midwest and Who's Who of American Women.
Born and raised in Bay City, Ms. Kuerbitz has been married to her husband Ronald Thomas Kuerbitz since 1990. She has eight children, 33 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys singing, playing the guitar and songwriting. She also enjoys camping.
