He has further contributed to Infinity as an astronomy teacher in 2012. In addition to these roles, Mr. Schneider found success as a science teacher at Northome School since 1990 as well as a boy's track coach at Northome/Kelliher/Blackduck High School since 1994.
Mr. Schneider initially pursued an education at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, where he earned a Bachelor of Education in life science and in middle school and junior high school science, cum laude, in 1990. After accruing some experience in the field, he continued his academic efforts at Bemidji State University, obtaining a Bachelor of Education in physics and chemistry in 2005. He concluded his studies with the school, graduating with a Bachelor of Education in earth and space science in 2008. Mr. Schneider is additionally certified as a coach by the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
A respected leader in his community, Mr. Schneider has been active in his areas of interest. He has also served on the city council for Northome, MN, where he formerly held the post of the mayor. A trustee of the Saint Michael Catholic Church, Mr. Schneider is a member of the National Science Teachers Association and the Minnesota Science Teachers Association.
Throughout his career, Mr. Schneider has been celebrated for his contributions to the field. He was recognized as the Teacher of the Year and Northome School honored him as the Staff Member of the Year. Likewise, Mr. Schneider has been featured in numerous publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in America.
