With nearly 35 years of professional experience, Ms. Kish has been a quality manager and AS9100 management representative at Zapp Precision Strip in Dartmouth, MA, since 2017, having been a quality program manager and lead black belt with Lockheed Martin Sippican from 2005 to 2017. Prior to obtaining these roles, she was a quality manager with Federal-Mogul from 2002 to 2005, quality and safety engineer with Roland Manufacturing from 2001 to 2002, and a quality manager and ISO 9000 management representative with Polymer Design from 1999 to 2001.
From 1998 to 1999, Ms. Kish was a quality system engineer at Marconi Ocean Systems, and from 1994 to 1998, she worked as a process engineer, ISO9000 management representative and manager of the ISO department for Shawmut Mills. She previously held a number of positions with Miniflow Systems, Inc., including application engineer and manager of productions from 1991 to 1994. Earlier in her career, Ms. Kish was a senior production engineer at White Tool Company from 1988 to 1989, production engineer with Singer-Kearfott Division from 1986 to 1988, and a drafter and designer with Brown Boveri Company, Inc., from 1984 to 1986.
Ms. Kish began her career as a student at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering in 1986. She then joined the University of Phoenix, earning a Master of Arts, summa cum laude, in Organizational Management in 1997. Ms. Kish is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Throughout her career, Ms. Kish has been recognized for her achievements. She has been featured in numerous honors publications, including Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women. However, the highlight of her career occurred when she won a company-wide competition during her tenure at Lockheed Martin. A team was assembled to compete in a "Best Of" contest, with the project consisting of a cost takeout program. The basis of the program was to meet specifications and requirements of a project at a much lower cost. At the conclusion of the contest, the team saved the company $3.1 million, completing the project four months earlier than anticipated.
