GRAND ISLAND, NE, March 01, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Joan A. Kimminau with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Joan A. Kimminau celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
The youngest of twelve children born to Leo and Elizabeth Sheahan, Ms. Joan Kimminau is a celebrated author of motivational poetry with a spiritual thread. When she was young, her mother encouraged her to write, saying "If you can't talk about it, write it." Over many years, Ms. Kimminau has authored myriad poems and short stories, such as "Attic of My Memories" and "A Day on the Nemaha."
For 10 years, Ms. Kimminau also wrote a prayer letter called "Request for Prayers," which at one point reached almost 5 million people around the world. Unfortunately, this endeavor became too time consuming so she ceased its operation, but many of the people who have met through her work continue to follow her career, as well as turn to her for advice and prayers. A collection of her works can now be found on GodsLittleScribe.com.
A member of the Nebraska Mothers Association, Ms. Kimminau remains connected to the art of poetry through the Nebraska State Poetry Society. For her excellence in the field, she has been honored with a Recognition of Literary Excellence through the National Authors Registry, from which she has also been presented with numerous Longfellow Awards. Likewise, she accepted an Editor's Choice Award from the National Library of Poetry. She has also been selected for inclusion in many features in Who's Who of Poetry. Looking toward the future, Ms. Kimminau intends to continue channeling her faith through her writing.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Joan Kimminau has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
