In addition, she was an advisor in Scituate, MA, from 1984 to 1989, an administrative assistant with Talbots from 1987 to 1988, and a mathematician and programmer with People Smith from 1985 to 1986. Earlier in her career, Ms. Champagne was a research mathematician and liaison with Factory Mutual Research Corporation from 1966 to 1974 and a mathematician and programmer with Brockton-Taunton Gas and Electric Light Company from 1963 to 1966.
Ms. Champagne began her career as a student at Carleton College, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 1963. She subsequently joined State College, where she earned a Master of Education in 1971.
A respected voice in the industry, Ms. Champagne has been an active leader in her community. A former member of the boards of directors of Curtain Call Community Theatre and the Cohasset Community Theatre, she has served on the administrative Advisory Committee of Scituate Public Schools and she was a member of the League of Women Voters.
Throughout her career, Ms. Champagne has been recognized for her contributions, including having been named to the Massachusetts Hockey Hall of Fame where she was an officer on the Board of Directors for 25 years. She has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who in the East.
