Prior to establishing her own firm, she was a dance and fitness instructor at Sivanich School of Music and Dance in 1983. Earlier in her career, she served as a fitness consultant for Fitness Plus from 1981 to 1983. She has also been a myofascial release/craniosacral therapist trained through John Barnes Myofascial, and Upledger Institute, as well as a certified aromatherapist through Loving Scents, and a Gyrotonic instructor through Gyrotonic.
Ms. Vashro Wyatt began her career as a student at the University of Minnesota, completing coursework from 1970 to 1973. She continued her studies with Mankato State University, completing coursework from 1973 to 1974. She then joined the University of California, Long Beach, earning a Bachelor of Arts in theater arts in 1975. Ms. Vashro Wyatt is also certified in essential oils through Loving Scents.
A respected voice in her areas of interest, Ms. Vashro Wyatt has been active with a number of organizations in her community. She is a member of the International Dance-Exercise Association, the National Dance Teachers Association of America, Phi Beta (secretary 1980-1982) and Kappa Delta (national vice president 1980-1982). The author of several texts in relation to her areas of expertise and choreographer of teacher educational programs for aerobic instructors, she served as the chair of Dance for Heart with the American Heart Association and as a volunteer at the Patrick Dempsey Center, and the American Cancer Society.
She is the author of Kimberly's Courage, a children's book that the Patrick Dempsey Center and the American Cancer Society used to read to children and which was also used in hospice programs.
Throughout her career, Ms. Vashro Wyatt has been recognized for her achievements. She has received awards and accolades for her contributions and accomplishments. She has been featured in numerous honors publications, including the 16th edition of Who's Who of American Women.
