Over the years, he gained valuable expertise in pulmonology and aerospace medicine through the Clinch Valley Medical Center, the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, North Carolina, the Charleston Air Force Base in South Carolina, the Tennessee Valley Authority and the Hampton VA Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia. Although his career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Enriquez is especially proud of his service with the United States Air Force Reserve.
An expert in his field, Dr. Enriquez holds a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of the East, Philippines in Manila and a Master of Public Health from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He also completed an internship with the Philippine General Hospital in Manila, a residency with Mercy Hospital of Buffalo in New York and a fellowship through the School of Medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit. In order to stay abreast of developments in the field, Dr. Enriquez affiliates himself with the American College of Chest Physicians and the American College of Physicians.
Outside of his professional path, Dr. Enriquez made it a point to give back to his community as a medical officer of Asheville's Civil Air Patrol, where he served from 1990 until 1999. For his professional accomplishments, he was featured in numerous volumes of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare.
