Mr. Hinden notably served as an adjunct professor at his alma mater, Southwestern University, for six years between 2002 and 2008, during which time he also authored a textbook. He continues to serve as a guest lecturer, having presented more than 100 seminars on the topics of workers compensation and personal injury, and is an arbitrator and judge pro tem. Mr. Hinden has contributed more than 80 books and articles to various scholarly journals in his area of expertise as well.
A past president and legislative chair of the California Applicants Attorneys Association, an organization committed to fight for civil rights and eliminate discrimination, Mr. Hinden is also a member of the California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery and the Los Angeles County Bar Association and is a master Mason. Locally, he had been active as the vice president of the National Kidney Foundation in southern California and Nevada. He is also involved with the Boy Scouts of America and the American Youth Soccer Organization and coaches Little League sports.
Mr. Hinden has been named to Top Attorneys every year between 2008 and 2019 and Super Lawyers every year for the past eleven years. He has held a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from California State University since 1970 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Southwestern University since 1974.
