Prior to establishing his own firm, he was with Scribitur Information Services from 1986 to 1988 and served as a programmer with IBM Research and Development from 1984 to 1986. Earlier in his career, he was an independent contractor with Crigal Chemical Company from 1981 to 1983 and a management analyst and program administrator with the County of Westchester from 1978 to 1981.
Mr. Logan began his career as a student at Grahm Junior College, obtaining an Associate of Applied Science in marketing in 1970. He then joined the University of New Hampshire, receiving a Bachelor of Science in business administration and finance in 1973. He later earned an Associate of Applied Science in electrical technology from Westchester Community College in 1986. Mr. Logan completed postgraduate coursework with Pace University in 1994 and a graduate advance computer program with Columbia University in 1996.
A respected voice in his areas of interest, Mr. Logan has been an active leader in his community. He is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the American Management Association, the Masons and Kappa Sigma Beta. A former laboratory supervisor for the CTA program at Columbia University, he has served as a tutor for Westchester Community College. He has also been a organizer with the Summer Lunch Program, an assistant football coach for Roosevelt High School, an organizer for the Community Youth Basketball League, and a tutor for disadvantaged children in both New York and New Hampshire.
Throughout his career, Mr. Logan has been recognized for his achievements. The recipient of the IEEE Service Award, he was given the Award of Excellence for Information Technology. He has been featured in numerous honors publications, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the Media and Communication, Who's Who International, Who's Who of Information Technology, Who's Who of Entrepreneurship and Who's Who Among Most Outstanding College Athletes in America.
Happily married, Mr. Logan enjoys writing poetry in his spare time. He was the recipient of multiple Editor Choice Awards for his poetry published on Poetry.com and in the Library of Poetry. He cites the highlight of his career to be having his program translated into over 20 languages.
