ISITC Reveals State Street's John Plansky as Keynote Speaker for 25th Annual Securities Operations Summit

    BOSTON, MA, March 19, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- ISITC, the industry trade group focused on developing standards and best practices in financial services operations, revealed today that John Plansky, CEO of Charles River Development (CRD), a subsidiary of State Street, will be the keynote speaker of its 25th Annual Securities Operations Summit. Plansky's session will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019 at the InterContinental in Boston, MA.

During his session, "Financial Services Disrupted: Driving Business Change by Harnessing the Power of Disruption", Plansky will discuss the need and urgency for financial institutions to embrace new ways of thinking and doing business. Leveraging his in-depth experience at start-ups and incumbents, Plansky will share his perspective on topics such as working with fintechs, adapting new business models, and accelerating transformational change.

As CEO of Charles River Development, acquired by State Street in July 2018, Plansky oversees the new global front-to-back platform helping to integrate State Street's existing capabilities with CRD's front-office. Most recently, Plansky was an Executive Vice President at State Street and head of their Global Exchange where he was responsible for the launch of several technologically advanced products, such as State Street Verus SM. Previously, he held senior management roles at a variety of firms including PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Booz & Co., and NerveWire.

The 25th Annual Securities Operations Summit will cover the theme "Financial Services Disrupted: Charting the Course" and will run from March 24-27, 2019. The three-day conference will attract over 200 leading industry executives to discuss and collaborate on topics such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, the future of data management, distributed ledger technology, API strategy, and gender diversity in the industry.
