A longtime advertising and business manager for The Catholic Sun, the official newspaper of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix, Ms. Wurth excelled in these positions from 1985 until her retirement in 2004. The publication is printed once per month by the bishop of the diocese and distributed to registered Catholics from Central to Northern Arizona. She previously worked for Computer Graphics as an account and a sales representative between 1981 and 1985. Ms. Wurth found success in various capacities for Data Corporation, National Auto Glass and Newman Auto Glass, Inc. in Phoenix between 1958 and 1981.

Often praying for guidance to be led down the right path, she thoroughly loved her time spent at the newspaper. Although she is now retired, Ms. Wurth continues to volunteer and remain very active at her church.
Ms. Wurth is also a longtime member of the Catholic Press Association, the Association Church Press and the Arizona Newspaper Association. The former governor of the Soroptimist International of the Americas, she was also the past president of the National Association of Insurance Women. Prior to embarking on her professional path, Ms. Wurth notably earned a diploma in business from Bowling Green University in 1956 and completed postgraduate coursework at Phoenix Junior College between 1978 and 1980.
Inducted to the Softball Hall of Fame, Ms. Wurth has since been cited in the first edition of Who's Who in the Media and Communication. In her spare time, she especially loves playing golf, attending the theater and listening to good music. Residing in Phoenix, AZ, Ms. Wurth hopes to continue enjoying her retirement as much as possible.
