LANCASTER, PA, March 20, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Lloyd K. Mosemann II with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Mosemann celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Supported by nearly 40 years of practiced experience in the military, communications and corporate development, Mr. Mosemann is a prominent figure in his profession whose expertise is unparalleled. He commenced his career in 1958 as a general supply officer for the Navy Electronics Supply Office in Great Lakes, Illinois, holding the position for four years. Thereafter, he served as an inventory management specialist for the Defense Electronics Supply Center in Dayton, Ohio, for one subsequent year, followed by a role as head of the integrated retail supply and support branch for the Naval Supply Systems Command in Washington, D.C., for six years. Moving into an executive role, Mr. Mosemann served as deputy chief of the Logistics Support Analysis Office with the Defense Logistics Agency in Alexandria, Virginia, from 1969 to 1971, deputy for supply and maintenance with the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force in Washington, D.C., from 1971 to 1974, and deputy assistant secretary for logistics and communications at the Department of the Air Force in Washington, D.C., from 1974 to 1991.
From 1991 to 1993, Mr. Mosemann further served the Department of the Air Force as a deputy assistant secretary for communications, computers and logistics, having subsequently served as a deputy assistant secretary for communications, computers and support systems from 1993 to 1996. After holding the role of software and acquisition consultant for one year, he served the Science Applications International Corp. in McLean, Virginia, as senior vice president of corporate development from 1997 until his retirement in 2007. During this tenure, Mr. Mosemann also sat on the executive resources board of the United States Air Force from 1981 to 1995.
Alongside his primary career endeavors, Mr. Mosemann sat on the board of advisors of the International Society of Logistics from 1983 to 1990, the board of directors of the American Defense Preparedness Association from 1973 to 1983, and the executive board of directors of the National Institute for Urban Search and Rescue from 1990 to 2005. Prior to delving into his career, he pursued formal education at the University of Chicago, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in social science in 1957 and Master of Arts in international relations in 1959.
As a testament to his immense success, Mr. Mosemann has accrued several accolades and honors. The recipient of the Founders Medal, he also received the H. Mark Grove Award for Excellence in Software Management and the Federal Computer Week's 100 Award. Inducted into the Government Computer News Hall of Fame, he has also received numerous awards and recognitions from the United States Air Force, such as a Decorated Distinguished Service Medal, a Meritorious Service Medal, an Exceptional Civilian Service Medal and a Defense Meritorious Civilian Service Medal. Notably, former President Ronald Reagan presented him with a Meritorious Senior Executive Award in 1982.
Mr. Mosemann also has the unique distinction of having not only executed the more than full time duties of Deputy Assistance Secretary of the Air Force, but also the duties of pastoring a local church. Pastoring in the manner of the Apostle Paul (working as a tent maker and taking no recompense from the church), he prepared for and preached Sunday morning and evening Services, and also a Wednesday night prayer meeting. In addition, he visited and prayed for the sick in their homes or in the hospital. He was a pastor from August 1970 until May 1978.
In 2005 Mr. Mosemann found various documents that he had written during the years of his pastorate. When he discovered them and re-read them, he could scarcely believe that he had written them. He was impressed with the importance of making them available to all who would have "eyes to see'. He collated and revised those earlier writings. In 2006 they were printed and distributed in the book AntiChrist in the Midst by the publisher Creation House.
Married with four children, Mr. Mosemann has been highlighted in multiple editions of Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East and Who's Who in the World. Looking toward the future, he intends to continue enjoying his retirement.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Mr. Mosemann has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
