After accruing 45 years of practiced industry experience, Dr. Willard retired from his position as a senior engineer with B.E. Meyers & Co., a post he had held since the early 1990s. At the beginning of his career, he completed eight years of service in the United States Army. During that time, he also worked as a staff associate for Boeing Scientific Research Laboratories. Over the years, Dr. Willard found success through executive and research engineering roles with the University of Washington, Boeing Aerospace and MetriCor Inc.
A licensed professional engineer, Dr. Willard earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering, a Master of Science in electrical engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Washington. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he is affiliated with the American Geophysical Union and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. With a plethora of knowledge at his disposal, Dr. Willard contributed to numerous articles published in professional journals and is currently working on a patent for the electronics of a system that would help treat Alzheimer's Disease.
