Supported by more than three decades of practiced experience in the legal and rubber industries, Mr. Reinhardt commenced his career as an associate at the Anthony D. Cennamo Law Firm in Columbus, Ohio, in 1967, holding the role for two years. Thereafter, he served as secretary and assistant general counsel at the White Motor Corp. in Cleveland from 1969 to 1976. After this opportunity, he became employed by Cooper Tire & Rubber Company in Findlay as general counsel from 1976 to 1983, ascending the ranks to secretary from 1977 to 1986, vice president from 1982 to 1991 and chief financial officer from 1983 to 1999. During this time, Mr. Reinhardt also served as executive vice president from 1991 until his retirement in 1999.
Initially intending on becoming an engineer, Mr. Reinhardt pursued formal education at the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering in 1965. Subsequently, he changed paths to law and received a Doctor of Jurisprudence from The Ohio State University in Columbus in 1968. After gaining experience in the field, he continued his studies with The Ohio State University and obtained a Master of Business Administration in 1979. Mr. Reinhardt has been licensed to practice law in Ohio and has been admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of the United States.
Civically involved as well, Mr. Reinhardt most recently served on the board of trustees of the Blanchard Valley Health System from 1983 to 2013 and the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation from 2003 to 2017. Likewise, he was the former president of the United Way of Hancock County as well as a member of the board of directors of the Findlay Hancock County Chamber of Commerce. Earlier in his career, Mr. Reinhardt sat on the board of directors of the Fifth Third Bank of Northwestern Ohio NA in Toledo.
The former president of the Findlay Rotary Club, Mr. Reinhardt was a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Financial Executives International. In light of his myriad accomplishments, he was awarded an honorary doctorate of business and finance from the University of Findlay in 1999. Likewise, Mr. Reinhardt has previously been listed in multiple editions of Who's Who in America.
