Dr. Desai most recently served as a distinguished member of the technical staff at the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory in Cambridge, MA, where he was first employed in 1970. He subsequently retired in 2011 after more than four decades of faithful service.
Known for his work in signal and image processing, Dr. Desai has contributed to numerous books and publications in his field. He has also impressively achieved several patents in his industry. Due to his myriad accomplishments, Dr. Desai was honored in the 11th edition of Who's Who in Science and Engineering, as well as the 61st and 63rd editions of Who's Who in America.
