With more than 50 years of professional experience, Dr. Durovic has excelled as a lecturer in the department of education psychology and statistics at the State University of New York at Albany since 1979. In addition to his primary responsibilities, he held the positions of the director of elementary and secondary educational testing with the New York State Department of Education, director of selection process evaluation, chief personnel examiner and the director of special studies for the New York State Department of Civil Service, where he has also found success as a personnel research analyst since 1964, assistant director of validation program development and review from 1975 to 1988, and principal personnel examiner and assistant director of occupational testing from 1970 to 1975.
Dr. Durovic began his career as a student at the City College of New York, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in 1964. He later enlisted in the United States Army Reserve, completing service between 1964 and 1968. He continued his studies at the State University of New York, where he earned a Master of Science in 1970. He concluded his academic efforts with the State University of New York, graduating with a Doctor of Philosphy in 1975.
A respected voice in his community, Dr. Durovic has been active with a number of organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. An assessment council member of the International Personnel Management Association, he has also been affiliated with the American Educational Research Association and the New York State Psychological Association. Throughout his career, Dr. Durovic has been featured in numerous publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
