Encouraged by her mother, who passed on her love of books to her daughter, many of Evelyn Judy Buehler's writings have since been inspired by her admiration of all things nature.

Over the years, she has also become very moved by the poems on Jesse Jackson's stage, which became a turning point for her, making her even more serious about the art of poetry writing.
Throughout her career, Ms. Buehler has contributed poetry to the American Poetry Anthology, Our Twentieth Century's Greatest Poems, Our World's Best Loved Poems, Masquerade of Words and Lyrics of Poetry, among others. One of her poems was included in the book "Angels Guarding Me" in 2004. That same year, her poem "A Portrait of Jesus" was included in the book "Book of Angels." Ms. Buehler has contributed numerous short stories to such publications as "Daring to Dream" in 1995, "Mortal Thoughts" in 1997, and "To Have and to Hold" in 1997 as well. She contributed to "My Love of Angels" in 2003, the e-book "Sunshine and Shadows" in 2002 and 2003, and "Tales of Summer" in 1998. Furthermore, she has contributed numerous chapters, poetry and photography to books, as well as articles to various professional publications in her field of expertise.
Ms. Buehler is a lifetime member of the International Society of Poets. She has notably been cited in the International Poetry Hall of Fame and has been showcased in close to 20 editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Entertainment, Who's Who in the Midwest, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women.
Born in Chicago, IL, Ms. Buehler later studied at Harold Washington College, City College of Chicago. Married to Henry Buehler since 1985, she has one son and one daughter. In her spare time, she loves cooking and gardening. She also enjoys hiking and the arts.
