A former managing director and principal at Westport Consultant Associates, Inc., and vice president and partner at Glendinning Associates in Westport, he also served as senior vice president of the Innotech Corporation in Trumbull, CT. Prior to those positions, Mr. Corbin held executive positions in the cosmetic industry where he specialized in new product development, marketing management, and acquisitions.
Throughout his career, Mr. Corbin lectured on behalf of Frost & Sullivan, a global research and consulting organization in London, since 1986. He has also been affiliated with Business Week Magazine in New York City since 1984. And, formerly lectured for the American Management Association in New York City from 1983 to 1987. In addition to speaking engagements, Mr. Corbin has contributed numerous articles to various professional and scholarly journals in his area of expertise.
Mr. Corbin is a past president of the Westport Sunrise Rotary Club and is a mentor at Bedford Middle School. He has been featured in the 25th and 26th editions of Who's Who in Finance and Industry, as well as the ninth and 10th editions of Who's Who in the World and the 21st, 22nd and 25th editions of Who's Who in the East.
Receiving a Bachelor of Arts from Lehigh University in 1958, Mr. Corbin, was greatly inspired by his father, who was also a Lehigh Graduate. He spent three years in the U.S. Naval Reserve as a lieutenant junior grade between 1959 and 1962, which he cites as a career highlight. Born in Cleveland, OH, Mr. Corbin later married his wife Eileen R. Corbin and had three children. In his free time, he loves public speaking. He also enjoys golf.
