Henrickson with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Henrickson celebrates many years of experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. With more than 45 years of professional experience, Mr. Henrickson is a violinist with the Newport Symphony Orchestra. Prior to obtaining his current role, he was a solo violinist with the Tappan Zee Chamber Players and Finger Lakes Chamber Music Festival in 2004 in New York State and a violinist-arranger-producer with the Hampton String Quartet from 1986 to 2003, president of Beautiful Music Unlimited Ltd. from 1975 to 1997, and a violinist and associate professor with the Hofstra University String Quartet from 1985 to 1986. From 1974 to 1986, he was principal violin with the New York Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra, and he was assistant principal violin for the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra from 1970 to 1972 and Orchestra Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto, Italy in 1970. From 1970 to 2006, he additionally was a section violinist for the American Symphony Orchestra, Brooklyn Philharmonic, Music for Westchester, and other orchestras in New York City. He has toured the world with The Hampton String Quartet and New York Pro Arte & Chamber Orchestra from London to Moscow to Hong Kong.

Mr. Henrickson began his career as a student at The Juilliard School, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in 1972. He continued his studies with the school, earning a Master of Music in 1973. A respected voice in the field, he is affiliated with a number of professional organizations, including the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, the American Federation of Musicians, the Institute of Audio Research, and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. He became one of the top string contractors in New York for recordings from the 1970s to 2000s with some 200 musician employees for TV, films, and records.

One of the most performed living American dance composers, Mr. Henrickson composed a 35-minute symphonic rock ballet titled "Ozone Hour," which was comprised of 33 dancers, a rock band and an orchestra. It was performed 34 times in four seasons between 1978 and 1997 by the Cleveland Ballet in Cleveland, OH, and Minneapolis, MN. He has performed and recorded albums as a violinist and soloist for 30 Broadway shows, including "Barnum," "Singin' in the Rain," "Me and My Girl," "Fiddler on the Roof," "The Phantom of the Opera," "Chess" and "Les Misérables." He was soloist with Kathie Lee Gifford in "Annie" (2006-2007).

In addition, Mr. Henrickson was a freelance violinist for Gregg Allman, Rick Wakeman, Dixie Carter, Sting, Frank Sinatra Tours, and many others, having also performed for 100 film soundtracks, such as "When Harry Met Sally," "The Age of Innocence," "Scent of a Woman" (on camera with The Tango Project) and "The Stepford Wives." Notably, he was a violinist for numerous hit records from the Village People, Paul Simon, John Sebastian, Diana Ross, Harry Connick Jr., Lenny Kravitz, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Avril Lavigne, Pink and many other major artists. Likewise, he was the author of a non-fiction book, "GIG An Autobiography of a Working Musician" and ran five New York City marathons, in which he obtained a medal in all five.

Throughout his career, Mr. Henrickson has been recognized for his contributions. He was the recipient of the Médaille d'Or from the Académie Internationale de Lutèce in 1978, as well as the Grand Prix de Paris International de la Chanson from 1976 to 1979. In 1985, he was honored with the Grand Prize from the Sound and Light International Song Festival at the pyramids of Giza, Egypt, and he was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Concept Music Video in 1988 and received an RIAA Platinum Album as concert master of Billy Ocean's "Tear Down These Walls." Furthermore, he had the honor of performing for The White House in 1993. Mr. Henrickson has also been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in Entertainment, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East and Who's Who in the World.
