Andrey Golub has found success as the deputy chief innovation officer and CTO for ATOMLab Milan, which is a joint venture between his startup ELSE Corp and ATOM Group.

Since 2018, Dr. Golub has found success as the deputy chief innovation officer and CTO for ATOMLab Milan, which is a joint venture between his startup ELSE Corp and ATOM Group, a leading shoe machinery company in Italy. In this role, he works in product research and development in the areas of virtual retail, CAD as a cloud platform, computer vision and artificial intelligence, and digital and hybrid manufacturing.
Spending the majority of his career working in Milan, Italy, lately he has been a visiting professor at the Società Umanitaria since 2016 and a partner and technology advisor with Yappa Media Srl since 2014. In 2018, he chaired the inTAIL Conference for Business International & Fiera Milano Media.
Notably, Dr. Golub is the co-founder and chief executive officer of ELSE Corp, a startup that is developing "real time fashion system," a new business model, and a set of technologies for a complete digital transformation of the supply chains. This is done in an effort to enable the on demand and mass customized retailing move toward more sustainable models. Impressively, he has 18 patents filed for different companies and on his own.
Dr. Golub became involved in his new mission with ELSE Corp because he believes the most exciting industries are fashion and luxury. When he was entering the field, fashion and special luxury was denying technology in an effort to preserve its exclusive status. Now, just after a few years of developments, it is almost entirely digitalized and virtualized. Once again, he finds himself at the cutting edge of the transformation curve, now being totally dedicated to the design, development, production, retail, and planning parts of the new fashion system principle, based on artificial intelligence and 3D technologies.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Golub acted as a visiting professor for Domus Academy from 2012 to 2016, an R&D consultant for Semplicemente Srl from 2010 to 2014, and consultant for strategic consulting at Sin&rgetics Srl from 2009 to 2013. From 2011 to 2013, he was a scientific board member for Master SNID and visiting professor at Politecnico di Milano. Before entering these roles, he worked as partner and chief technology officer for Moda e Tecnologia Srl from 2010 to 2013, consultant manager for R&D Sicuritalia Spa from 2008 to 2009, and manager of business intelligence at Zero9 Group Spa in 2008. Outside of his primary endeavors, he contributes articles to professional journals, international conferences, summits, and expert workshops.
Previously, Dr. Golub was the manager of ICT Parla.it Spa from 2006 to 2008 and manager of software development for Digital TV Spa from 2003 to 2006. From 2002 to 2003, he was employed as a senior researcher and technical analyst for the Center of Science Technology at the Research Institute of Trentino Cultura, now called FBK. His first professional role was as a team leader for Epam Systems from 2000 to 2002.
Before entering the field, Dr. Golub pursued a formal education at the Polytechnic University of Minsk and earned a Master of Science in applied mathematics in 1998. He continued his studies at the same esteemed academic institution and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy in systems analysis in 2001. After gaining experience in the field, he completed coursework at MIP-Politeccnico di Milano and obtained a short master diploma in 2012 and pursued an executive Master of Business Administration between 2015 and 2017.
An active presence in the field, Mr. Golub is a member of the IEEE, the IEEE Standards Association, and MilanIN. He is also involved with a number of non-profit organizations. He has been listed in the 25th edition of Who's Who in the World for his esteemed achievements. He attributes his success to his mother, Natalia, and his wife, Alina.
