Mr. Dyer earned a Bachelor of Journalism (with honors) from the University of Missouri. After active duty service in the United States Navy Reserve, he attended the University of California Hastings College of the Law graduating with a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree. Mr. Dyer has been a member of the State Bar of California, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the National Board of Trial Advocacy, the San Mateo County Bar Association, the Santa Clara Bar Association, the Consumer Attorneys of California, the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association and the California Dispute Resolution Council.
Mr. Dyer has been awarded the San Mateo County Bar Association, James M. Dennis Memorial Award and received the Trial Lawyer of the Year Award from the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association. He has the AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-¬Hubbard. In his armed forces service he was awarded the Armed Forces Meritorious Service Medal and the United States Navy Commendation Medal along with other service medals.
