Over the years, Dr. Vittorio gained valuable expertise through varying roles with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University as an assistant professor of medicine, the St. Francis Hospital Heart Center and Center for Advanced Cardiac Therapeutics as director of heart failure research, and the Montefiore Medical Center as an attending physician. He also served Tisch Hospital as an assistant attending physician and Bellevue Hospital Center as an associate director of the cardiac care unit, among other roles.
A diplomate of the American Board of Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology, the American Board of Cardiovascular Disease and the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Vittorio holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Bethany College, a Master of Science in biology from New York University, and a Doctor of Medicine from the Tel Aviv University Sackler Faculty of Medicine. To remain abreast of changes in the field, he maintains affiliation with the Age Management Medicine Group, the Heart Failure Society of America, the American College of Physicians, and the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation. With a plethora of knowledge at his disposal, he reviewed such articles as "A Perspective on Sympathetic Renal Denervation in Chronic Congestive Heart Failure," "Lipid Interventions in Aortic Valvular Disease" and "Reversible Cardiomyopathies – A Review."
In light of his excellence in the field, Dr. Vittorio was honored as an Outstanding Teaching Assistant of the Year Award through the New York University School of Education, Health, Nursing and Arts Professions and as a Top Cardiologist through the International Association of Cardiologists. He was also inducted into the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society and the Kappa Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society through Bethany College.
Married to Limor Pinhasi-Vittorio, Dr. Vittorio is the proud father of three children: Tamir, Eytan and Lior. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the beach, exercising, golfing, spending time outdoors and spending time with his family.
