Ms. Kramer, notably of Kramer Arts in Missoula, Mont., is a renowned artist and sculptor who began her career as an exhibition curator for the Greater Missoula Visual Artists Gallery Tours in 1989. In the years since, she has served in the same capacity for the Sister City Art Exhibit for Neckergemund in Germany and the Missoula Cultural Exchange. In addition to her career in art, Ms. Kramer has found success as a medical technologist.
Throughout her career, Ms. Kramer has been very active with a number of organizations. She has been affiliated with the Women's Caucus for Art as the founder of the Montana chapter in 1994 as well as a board member, a national board member and the Rocky Mountain regional vice president. Additionally, she has been appointed the board of directors of the International Friendship Force where she once held the post of an exchange coordinator. Moreover, Ms. Kramer was a former steering committee member of the Great Missoula Visual Artists.
Ms. Kramer began exhibiting her artwork in 1990 at the Northern Pacific Gallery in Missoula, which followed by exhibitions at such locations as the Allistar Gold Gallery in Missoula, the Ruggero Maggi in Milan, Italy and the Artcore Brewery Annex in Los Angeles, among other national and international locations. She has also been represented in various collections, including at the University of Montana in several art exhibits as part of the Women's Caucus for Art. Locally, she has excelled on the board of directors and as the vice president of the Bitterroot Homeowner's Association in Lolo, Mont. Ms. Kramer also contributed as a news editor for the Missoula MS Support Group.
Born in Adrian, Minn., Ms. Kramer pursued an education at Southwest Minnesota Community College, earning an Associate degree in 1972. She later graduated with a Bachelor's degree from South Dakota State University in 1977 and an Master of Fine Arts from the University of Montana in 1991. She was the recipient of a Senator Pat Williams/Fell-Oskins grant from the University of Montana in 1990. Ms. Kramer has been further featured in several editions of Who's Who of American Women.
