Donald Walter Chesner had a strong Christian faith and passed away on January 26, 2019, just a few days after receiving this award.
NEW BERN, NC, April 25, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Donald Walter Chesner with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Donald Chesner celebrated many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
For many years, Mr. Chesner worked as President of Chesner Builders in North Brunswick, New Jersey and New Bern, North Carolina, excelling in the field of construction and real estate development. He began his career as an Apprentice with his father's business, Harold Chesner, Inc., advancing to the role of Supervisor before founding his own business, Chesner Builders, Inc. in 1972. Through his guidance, Chesner Builders, Inc. designed and built both commercial and custom residential buildings in both New Jersey and North Carolina from 1972-2018.
Mr. Chesner readily shared his talents through actively mentoring others and through guiding community projects with local churches and non-profits, overseeing such varied projects as a community pond and wetlands restoration and reconstruction and the renovation of a commercial building into a crisis and homeless shelter and soup kitchen. He also traveled overseas through a special appointment with the Citizen's Democracy Corps, lending his expertise to construction providers in Iasi, Romania.
A testament to his strong ethics, Mr. Chesner was a 32nd degree Mason as a member of the Fraternal Order of Free and Accepted Masons through Berne Lodge #724. He had a strong Christian faith and passed away on January 26, 2019, just a few days after receiving this award.
Although his career was filled with highlights, he was especially proud of designing and building his family's home estates in both New Jersey and North Carolina. Providing homes that surrounded his family with his talents and love became a cornerstone of an already impressive career.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Donald Walter Chesner has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
