GRANADA HILLS, CA, May 07, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Pari D. Spolter, PhD, with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Dr. Spolter celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With over 50 years of professional experience to her credit, Dr. Spolter has been active as the owner and primary writer for the Orb Publishing Company in Granada Hills for over three decades, beginning in 1988. Notably, she authored "The Dance of the Moon" in 2015 and "Gravitational Force of the Sun" in 1993, the latter of which had a second edition published in 2014. Earlier in her career, Dr. Spolter found success as a research biochemist with the Public Health Service Hospital in San Francisco from 1965 to 1968 and both a research associate and instructor at Temple University in Philadelphia from 1961 to 1965.
Prior to embarking on her career, Dr. Spolter pursued an education at the University of Geneva in Switzerland, where she earned a license in biochemistry in 1952. Following this accomplishment, she continued her studies in the United States, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1961. In an effort to remain up to date with developments in her field, Dr. Spolter maintains her affiliation with the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Mathematical Society and the New York Academy of Sciences.
Becoming involved in the sciences because of her early success in school, Dr. Spolter feels she truly owes how much she has achieved over the years to her first college professor, Dr. Alfred E. Harper. With genuine love and passion for her work, she considers the absolute highlight of her career to be when she was accepted as a paid graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. For excellence throughout the years, Dr. Spolter has previously been featured in multiple editions of Who's Who in the West.
