Prior to these roles, she excelled as the director of outpatient services at Treatment Trends in Allentown, PA, between 1993 and 2003. On a civic level, Dr. Valliere was active as a board member for Edison Court, Inc., in Doylestown PA, from 2004 to 2012.
Among her notable achievements, Dr. Valliere is most renowned for testifying before U.S. Congress and the U.S. Judicial Committee on military sexual assault, as well as before the House of Representatives for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the passage of a bill on expert testimony in sexual assault cases. Moreover, Dr. Valliere has contributed as a consultant to the U.S. Military and the Department of Justice.
To remain aware of developments in the field, Dr. Valliere remains affiliated with the American Psychological Association, the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers, and the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children. As a testament to her success, she was presented with the Outstanding Community Award from the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape in 2007. Previously, Dr. Valliere obtained a Doctor of Clinical Psychology from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, in 1993.
